Description

In 2011, when my daughter was born, my doula had the foresight to grab our camera and start shooting. We didn’t plan it and had she not taken that initiative we would have no record of our daughter’s birth except for what was in our minds. I am forever thankful for that day and that initiative, because now I can look back at those photographs and relive every precious moment of her birth.
This is why I decided to photograph births: to give you a permanent memory of the birth of your child. Recording the lives our children should start right at the very beginning. It is part of the legacy that we leave our families.
