History:
Dale Steeves established the firm in January 1979 as a sole proprietorship. In 1996, the practice was incorporated, with Mr. Steeves the sole shareholder. The firm has enjoyed a steady growth through the years, taking on an additional partner, Carol LeBlanc, CPA in July 2008. In October 2014, Dale retired from the practice as a partner but continues to provide consulting and advisory services to the practice on a part-time basis. Clientele: Our clientele includes a wide variety of businesses, non-profit organizations, professional practices, trusts, proprietorships, and partnerships. Audit clientele includes organizations engaged in professional practice, non-profit organizations, charities and service organizations. Associations: Steeves Porter Hétu & Associates Inc is registered with the Chartered Professional Accountants of New Brunswick ("CPA"). In addition, we are a New Brunswick representative office of a national affiliation of accounting firms under the name Porter Hétu International (PHI). Porter Hétu International gives us representation in all of the principal business cities in Canada. This association allows us to broaden the scope of services we are able to offer our clients both from a geographical and professional perspective. Our six principal regional offices are Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Moncton. The key attributes of our member firms are high quality standards of work and client service, a strong commitment to the profession of accountancy and a commitment to the national association.
