Canadian Tire

The store itself is OK. It's usually hard to find assistance, but once you find someone, I have found them to be helpful. I find the store to be rather cluttered and the selection isn't great. Stay away from the auto center. We live no more than a 5-minute walk from them, yet will travel across town to get our vehicle serviced because of the number of times they have tried to rip us off when we have taken our cars in. For example, when we took our vehicle in recently to get winter tires put on (we were looking for convenience that day and figured they couldn't manage to screw up such an easy, specific order), we were told that they had to reset our computer to be able to work with the tire pressure monitor system, which showed up as a $28 + tax charge. Our model of vehicle does not have that feature on it, so it was a completely bogus charge. When called out on it, they said they had just forgotten to take it off of the invoice.
