The blue door was one of the first restaurants in the region to have produce actually planted by the farmer specifically for the blue door. Our chef's seasonally rotating menus also feature the freshest seafood catches direct from the Atlantic. Along with fresh and local, the blue door is also a Maritime Leader in the support of sustainable fisheries. The blue door was the only the second restaurant east of Ontario to receive Ocean Wise certification for their use of sustainable seafood.
