We at Tyya's Trails and Tails have Dog Walking, Training and Boarding Services. We offer reasonable rates and we have a big backyard and are right beside Cedarvale Park for our Boarding pets, where they are taken 2-3 times per day and are always supervised.
We love dogs and understand the importance of daily exercise and that owning a furry friend comes with much responsibility. Many companies in this industry work on a group dog philosophy where the pet is picked up and tossed in the back of a car with many other dogs and then released in a dog park while the walker watches the time and waits for the hour to pass. There is little to no personal attention to your pet. Our philosophy is the exact opposite. We understand that your dog deserves personal attention and may have certain personality traits where private walking is far more beneficial. If you wish for your dog to attend an off leash area for socialization and play; by all means. Perhaps your dog does not do well around other dogs. This is where our specialty and understanding of dogs and breed behaviour shine. We know that pets are as important as children. We also understand how busy and stressful life can become. Our goal is to ensure that your dog gets out on a regular basis while also giving you peace of mind that there are people who are there to love your dogs and are willing to help you with all of your walking, training and boarding needs. We are also fully covered under PROfur Insurance for Dog Walks and Boarding your pet. Tyya also has 15 years of experience working in Animal Hospitals, Doggy Daycares, Humane Societies and Volunteer Work. Working with animals is her passion and it shows in her quality of care, attention and love for the animals. You will receive a personal note after each walk and a weekly update report on your dog's progress whether they are being trained or not. It's a personal touch that puts us in a league of our own. We also like to include if we have noticed any unforeseen problems like blood in the urine or excessive diarrhea, excessive licking, or if their behaviour has changed, etc. If we feed your pet we keep a close watch on their appetite. Tyya believes in having a lot of fun during her walks so don't be surprised if you hear her down the road talking or singing to your pet, running or jumping or just having a bonding moment and petting your pet.
