I hired Chris to install kitchen backsplash. I thought that’s a guy with 13 years experience, it should be all right, but I was totally wrong. Hiring him was a huge mistake, the $800 was the worst money I have ever spent. I would give a D- for the work he did. The tiles are not level on the wall, and are not cut straight. The worst part is the caulking around the edges, because the tiles were not cut precisely and leveled, there is no straight line on any edge, it is just pure ugly, he used his fingers to do the caulking and I was assured that’s the best he can do. Don’t hire this guy to do any tile work, otherwise you will be totally disappointed. If you really don’t care the quality, you can try, but don’t pay more than $10/hour for his labour, because he just doesn’t deserve it.
