I have to start by saying that I have never been so happy when I look towards my future.
I stopped burning candles many years ago when my little girl was diagnosed with Autism. Due to her being clumsy I couldn't take the risk of her getting hurt so I had to throw all my candles out no matter how much I enjoyed having amazing scents in my home. Her safety was much more important. I was at an event where a friend of mine said they were heading over to the Scentsy booth, when I asked her what Scentsy was and she replied candles, I of course said I will wait for you here because I had no use for them. Waiting waiting and more waiting I went to see what was taking her so long. Upon walking over to the booth all I could smell was the fantastic scent and thought oh how I wish I could. To tell you the truth at this point I was a little confused as to where the scent was coming from? I didn't seen any flame at all. How was this fantastic scent happening. I am sure it was the puzzled look at my face when Jocelinne the amazing lady showing the product to so many people at her booth that day said. Your new to this amazing product aren't you? I wonder how she figured that out lol. Maybe it was the fact that I was like a kid in a candy store. I wanted this product in my home so bad. My plan at that moment was to buy a warmer and some scents BUT then the wheels starting turning. I could, for not to much more then what i was already going to spend just Join her team and start my own Scentsy business. I told Jocelinne that day that I was going to Join her team. I returned home after the 5 day event and became very sick so it had been 3 weeks later that I got in touch with Jocelinne to Join her team. Although I totally fell in LOVE with this product and wanted to be a part of it I had a few concerns. 1) I lived in a small town of only about 2000 people 2) I was the type of person who stuck to herself and sometimes a little shy 3) When I was in school I couldn't even stand up in front of my class and speak how was I ever going to do parties 4) How would I ever build a team. I joined Scentsy in late September 2012 and 2 months later had my first recruit. YAY . I have been with Scentsy 9 short months and I have a team of 7. I am so proud to say that I am now a Star Consultant with an amazing team. Double YAY. I had the pleasure of going to Indianapolis for our Scentsy Family Reunion 2013 and met so many wonderful men and women that I will call friends forever. I plan on being on every trip that Scentsy has to offer. Triple YAY can't wait I have so much fun at the parties I do as well as the events, I have met not only customers but forever friends through my Scentsy business and I wouldn't change a thing. well except I wish I had found Scentsy a lot sooner.
