We are a Portuguese bakery/grocers/ fish market selling a wide variety of Portuguese and Brazilian products here are a few of them;
Bread and Sweets: Being the only Portuguese bakery and grocers in Calgary the one thing we are known for in the city’s small Portuguese community is our bread and sweets. We make fresh Portuguese buns, corn bread, as well as white and whole wheat bread. We also have famous Portuguese custard tarts as well as our tasty coconut tarts made fresh in store. Once a mouth we make our famous Portuguese sweet bread which is very popular back home in Portugal. Also something new we have introduced is puff pastry with Bavarian cream inside. Fish: We carry a wide variety of fish from Portugal and the west and east coasts of Canada. Our main seller is the frozen fresh sardines but we also have many other kinds of frozen fish including; red snapper, horse mackerel, white and blue stickleback, octopus, shrimp, whiting steaks as well as whole whiting. We carry crab legs during the holiday season. We also carry semi dried Nova Scotia and Norwegian cod fish. We have many sizes ranging from medium to extra-large. We also carry skinless and boneless cod fish. Chesses and Chourizo: We import cheeses from Portugal are main kind is from Sao Jorge as well as a few others. We have recently introduced a new type of cheese to our store. The traditional white cheese made fresh in store each weekend! A must try for everyone! We also import Portuguese chourizo; it comes in many flavors, are main kind comes in sweet, medium hot, and extra hot we also have smoked and extra fatty. We also sell smoked bacon chunks. And Much Much MORE!!!
