Todd B. White, B.A. (Hons), LL.B., Barrister, is a senior criminal lawyer in Toronto, Canada. He has been practicing in the fields of criminal defence, extradition matters, regulatory offences and professional disciplinary law since 1992. Todd White received his Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) from the University of Toronto and his law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa Law School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Mr. White has been practicing criminal law in Toronto since 1992. He articled for Edward L. Greenspan and Marc Rosenberg, as he then was, in 1990 and then practiced law at the firm of Greenspan, Rosenberg and Buhr, becoming a partner in 1998. He continued to practice with the firm (formerly known as Greenspan, White) until he established his own firm in 2012. He has been involved in many high profile and complex criminal and Charter of Rights cases in Ontario and across Canada. He is also extremely successful in defending persons charged with Domestic Assault, Sexual Assault, Impaired Driving and "Over 80", Internet Crimes, Robbery and Theft, Murder and Drug charges. Mr. White's practice includes defending people charged with criminal offences, including charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Criminal Code of Canada; conducting bail hearings and bail reviews; acting in Securities Act investigations and prosecutions, Income Tax Act investigations, Coroners' Inquests; defending people charged under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Environmental Protection Act; and defending Professional Discipline Complaints before administrative tribunals.
