Glass House Optical was established in Nelson, British Columbia in May of 1992 by Harry Davidson. First located for 17 years in the Chahko
Mika Mall, Glass House Optical was later moved in 2009, to its current location, on the corner of Front and Hall Street. In mid 2012, Glass House Optical was taken over by Shamim Pourmokhtari, owner and licensed optician of Castlegar Optical in Castlegar, British Columbia. Which has now changed its name to Glass House Optical.
