Description

Qualified Child Care: part-time, shift, occasional - available 24 hrs
Graduate of the Early Childhood Education program in 2002. I have been working in the field since '01, at private/non-profit/school board centres with children ranging from newborn-school age. I left for maternity leave and now am the proud mother of an 18mth old,with another on the way. I have a separate area for the children to play and learn in my home, including all the learning centres you would see in a commercial daycare (creative art, science/sensory, dramatic play, library/computer, circle time, etc.). I have a large yard and am located close to parks. Snacks/ Meals provided. I am offering care for irregular hour needs or possibly able to work out a schedule with you. Please contact if interested.

I had the privilege of working with Serena in a childcare setting run by the school board. When I first met her I instantly sensed that Serena was a genuine, trustworth person, and I have never been proven wrong. Her manner with the children was always respectful and you could easily see she was genuinely interested in what the children had to say. Our field could use more people like her. As an experienced professional in the field of early childhood education, a past private home day care home visotor/safety inspector and a mother of 3, I would not hesitate to recommend Serena to anyone looking for top quality home day care for their precious little ones.
