Normally I cover the work area with dropcloths from a pile that could literally fill my truck , I'll try tobring the cleaner ones, .Cover the furnishings, scrape sand and patch what's needed. I supply good paint and leave you with touch-up paint as I should. I have a steady hand for beautiful looking lines, there's no tape, way faster , if it took you a week , might only take me a day or so. I personally do the work , equipped , stocked truck also the workstation, .there is no "send the helper" with a duffle bag ,that is sure to spell anxiety I am most familiar with Benjamin Moore Spraying An airless sprayer could pump 40 gallons in a day, great for priming new drywall, or old popcorn ceiling, big factory walls , or exterior siding. and ocassionally trim . I also have a HVLP sprayer for rads or detailed items not so much for kitchen cabinets, that is another field of expertise For small repairs to popcorn ceiling I have added a stucco sprayer, it might work on knockdown patches,a patch is still a r isk Wallpaper Yes I wallpaper, I go the extra length to seal and presize so it can be repaired or replaced at some future time Paper still makes a house complete and should not be reserved for hiding bad walls, got bad walls , fix them, then put on good paper I say ! Paper Stripping . Save your marriage; paper stripping is tough love., A die hard spirit is needed here, yes all walls are then scrub washed, A messy job that is best finished by repainting trim and ceilings too Woodworking Yes I do have tools but I am not a veteran carpenter, a sharp chisel, a nail gun, a coping saw but I’m really a serious painter -trying to get it going! So smaller jobs: baseboards, fix up some trim but not doors, repairing exterior window sills and brick moulding rot, when auto body patches won’t help. Caulking exterior corner bead - it all makes my paint last longer.
