With over 12 years experience working as a full-time self-employed painter I have come across many different situations and have developed a methodology that allows me to work quickly and produce a high quality result.
Your home is probably the single largest investment you will ever make and is undoubtedly where you spend most of your time so when I paint a home I treat the job with the respect and attention it deserves. After visiting with you and discussing exactly what areas you wish to have painted I will provide you with a fair estimate for the work. If you wish to proceed we will then schedule a start date and get paint colours etc. sorted out. No deposit is necessary unless I am purchasing the paint. Before any paint cans get opened all prep work such as chalking and plastering of holes/cracks is completed. Proper preparation is critical to a successful and professional job. If ceilings and/or trim are requested they are done next. Finally, painters tape is applied to trim and the walls are "cut in" by brush along the trim and ceiling line. The walls are then rolled twice and the painters tape removed leaving lines that are straight as an arrow.
