Based in Kitchener-Waterloo and available throughout southwestern Ontario, metamorphHOUSES and its affiliates collaborate via the.mmH.collective to create and construct modern, green housing and other housing that requires thoughtful planning and design. We put our client relationships, our reputation for innovation & quality execution, and our innate desire to produce functional beauty ahead of profits. Our approach is a deliberate design-based methodology that starts with our listening to you, asking questions, and observing. We strive to be the antithesis of: "I've got a builder, now I just need the drawings". In other words, we start by planning. If you're naturally inclined to look before you leap, then we've got a great foundation from which to begin. If you're gung-ho-and-ready-to-go, maybe not so much. If you are familiar with Sarah Susanka's work on the "Not So Big House", but you're wary of modern design, then we remain highly qualified to help with your home as well. Our entire design fee is very often recovered by savings we may find on your behalf and/or by pitfalls avoided. In fact, it is not uncommon that our design fee is recovered several (or even many) times over through project savings. Your building budget includes your time, not just your money: More lead time = better results at a lower overall project cost.
