Description

Open since February 2008, Brad's Eatery was developed from an idea and a passion Chef Brad Krawchuk had when he first began his career 20 years ago. After working in many well established restaurants, hotels and catering companies in Toronto, Vancouver and most notably Northern Italy, the time had come to start his own restaurant. Brad's is about people coming together to enjoy a casual warm atmosphere, and simple, yet creative food. Voted one of top five brunch spots to go to by Toronto Life and Now Magazine, Brad's is not just open for brunches; it is also open in the evening with a menu showing the same creativity and flair for dinner.

My office is just a few minutes from this restaurant, so we frequently go there for lunch. They have a great variety of grilled sandwiches, all with great combinations of ingredients and you can choose your own type of bread. One of my favourites is the roasted chicken sandwich which comes with avocado, bacon, oven dried tomato and cheese. I've also tried the BBQ brisket sandwich which comes with portobello mushrooms, red onion jam and cheese. The sandwiches come with a side serving of fries or salad, but I often get sweet potato fries which are amazing and come with a delicious mayo to dip. I've never had breakfast here, but I hear it's also delicious.
