Kenwood Design Associates (KDA) specializes in the application of sound design principles to site and landscape planning, rainwater harvesting and management systems, and training for practitioners in these land-related fields.
Retired from landscape architecture, and continuing with education and training for landscape and rainwater specialists, principal Ken Nentwig enjoys creating illustrative renderings of plans and buildings, and using SketchUp to create 3D models of sites. Terrain modelling is a specialty, along with the education of future designers in computer applications. Site planning and related grading, landscape and structural massing are an important aspect to efficient use of space, and for the ergonomics of site access and use. With over four decades of experience, and with related architectural, landscape, construction and servicing designers and contractors, KDA is in a position to help you get started, complete a project currently underway, or remediate a problem situation or ugrade to an existing site. KDA will complete evaluations of scenarios such as proposed rainwater management system design and installation, and of site and amenity planning.
