Based on warranty periods of Ontario New Home Warranty Program, there are 3 major inspections recognized by Tarion, (O.N.H.W.P.), regulations: • P.D.I., (Pre – Delivery Inspection), / 30 – Day Period; taking possession of a new home is a best time to record defects in respect to any claims which may have to be pursued, as well as a future maintenance plan and familiarization with home systems. • End of the First Year; recognition of all remaining deficiencies on the end of the first year from the time of possession. • End of the Second Year; as above but with stress on unfinished items reported in previous warranty periods.
