I have over 48 years insurance adjusting experience; 28 for insurance companies and over 20 for the public. In each case licensed by the Dept. of Insurance in the Prov. of Ontario.I have acted in the capacity of appraiser and umpire pursuant to the Insurance Act, Sec. 128 and 143 on over 1500 cases in the past 20 years.I am now retired from adjusting and am available to act solely as either appraiser or umpire as the need or desire arises.These services are needed by policyholders and/or insurers where there is a dispute as to the amount of loss suffered as the result of an insured peril, whether or not there is an obligation for payment by the insurer but where one side or the other wishes to have the amount of the loss determined.I am also available to act in the capacity of an insurance property claims consultant to provide an expert opinion in anticipation of a legal action, whether plaintiff or defendant.
