He thought of the name Totem to show that he is proud of his native heritage. He was contracted out by different dealerships in the area for tinting newly purchased vehicles. He was also 1st in the Ottawa Tint-Off Contest in 2006 and went on to be 3rd in all of Canada. They were tested on the speed and quality of their work. Allen only uses Llumar window films and has a lifetime guarantee. He offers residential and commercial tinting, even such large items as boats, tractor trailers and other heavy equipment.
