Description
As a Registered Home Inspector and National Certificate Holder that has been professionally trained will advise you through a detailed, easy to understand report of the condition of the home’s mechanical and structural components. We are also WETT Certified and offer WETT inspections. A home inspection is a vital part of the process of purchasing a home, assisting you with the decision to buy. Many home buyers don’t have the technical background to properly evaluate the home’s structural and mechanical systems and may not be able to evaluate how one component of the house might affect the operability or lifespan of another. That is why it’s best to hire a JefCan home inspector.
We’ve have been inspecting homes since 2003 and have performed many home inspections. Our clients have trusted us to inspect a wide range of homes from older (century) homes to brand new homes.
We have gone through the most rigorous training program available. Going through the property and performing a comprehensive visual inspection to assess the condition of the home and all of its systems, will determine the components that are not performing properly as well as items that are beyond the useful life expectancy or considered unsafe.
Purchasing a home is the single largest investment that we will make in our lifetime. You have to protect that investment. Most purchases are based on a visual perception or an emotional connection. At times, relying on a visual perception could make it extremely difficult for the purchaser to remain objective and unemotional. This could lead to impaired judgment on the part of the purchaser. One of the best ways to understand a home’s condition, habitability and safety is to hire a professional home inspector.
The inspection will also provide the purchaser with a greater measure of protection from unpleasant surprises after moving into their new home.
A home inspection may take anywhere from 2½ hours to 4 hours depending on the age, size and the number of defects that may be found. Upon completion of the inspection, you will receive a report about the condition of the home. If you have any questions about your home or the report we offer free ongoing advice and consultation as long as you own the home. The inspection report is well laid out and broken down into components so that it is easy for you to understand and use to your advantage.
