9.30 am - 12:00 noon every Wednesday is OPEN HOUSE at Montessori Mantra ! You are invited to visit and tour our facilities. Montessori Mantra is committed to the empowerment of children. Montessori Mantra promotes aspects of development that will lead to a life-long love for learning : Cognitive, Perceptual, Social, Emotional, Language, Gross-motor, Creative and Expressive. Our classrooms are carefully prepared environments that offer specific materials and activities that build brain tissue. These connections develop and grow stronger through repeated use. A one-time experience may not cause these connections to be maintained. The repletion of the experience anchors the connection. And, the importance of repetition is one of Montessori's basics. We know that the art of good teaching is not just preparing the environment. It is not just presenting the materials in order. Rather, it is to know exactly what material to present, when to capture the child's interest and when he is ready to take the leap into the next piece of material. Montessori teachers are trained to "Follow the child", and are acutely aware of each child's interests and accomplishments.
