Gerry Troesch Residential Design was started in 2004 to offer my services as a residential designer and draftsperson to contractors and homeowners in Victoria and on Vancouver Island.
I graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1976 - with a diploma in Architectural Technology. I started my work career with Nelson Manufactured Homes in Lloydminster Alberta, then two years later moved to Saskatoon Saskatchewan, and worked designing homes, and managing projects with a residential developer/builder there for nine years. In 1987 I moved to Vancouver and worked for Select Home Designs, then Parklane Homes, one of British Columbia's largest builders of single family homes. In 1990 I moved to Victoria, and after doing freelance work for a couple of years, I joined Zebra Designs, where I worked as a designer and draftsman, until starting my own company in May of 2004. I design all types of residential projects, assist clients with rezonings, Variances, Developments pemits etc. I provide technical, consulting and drafting services to contractors and interior designers.
