Professional Dog Trainer and Canine Behaviour Specialist Serving St. John's Newfoundland, Mount Pearl, Paradise, CBS and surrounding areas Free Training Evaluation Jessica developed her passion for all animals very early in life. Growing up in Newfoundland with only one cat in the house, she was always bringing home lost or stray animals just hoping to get them back to their families where they belonged. Doing so, she quickly understood that animals have temperments just as humans have personalities, and their behaviour under different circumstances change emmensly. Jessica became intrigued with the dog mind and behaviour. She took her first job at a barn, mucking stalls, caring for horses and teaching children how to ride and care for horses. When she finally got her first dog, and took an obedience course herself, she then realized what she wanted to do. She moved from the barn to work at a local Kennel, caring for other people's dogs, and studying their behaviour towards each other. After a couple years she was promoted to Assistant Obedience Trainer and after working with people and their dogs for quite some time, she didn't want to be just an assistant anymore. Jessica moved to Ottawa to take the Professional Dog Trainer Course with head trainer Randy Chartrand, who helped her become a trainer of her own. Now she can work with people and their dogs, and gain new experiences with every client.
