Crystals Dayhome

Description

My name is Crystal and I am a mother of two - a boy 5 years old and a girl 8 years old. In addition to all of the crafts and play time, I follow the strategies of The Virtues Project where I teach the children in my dayhome a new virtue every 2nd week.
The kids practice team work and cleanliness by keeping their toys off the floor. They practice gentleness by learning how to play nicely with each other, and they practice kindness and generosity in their play time. All children in my dayhome are encouraged to express themselves in a safe and peaceful way. I have been operating my dayhome for the past 3 1/2 years. I have a bright and spacious dayhome with an enclosed kid-friendly back yard in a quiet neighborhood in Airdrie. We have story time every day, we do crafts twice a week, we have free time, quite time, and outside time - weather permitting. There is a park just around the corner. The Good Sheperd School is a couple minutes walk away that we often go to. I currently have 4 full time space available for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old.
