Description

I was born and raised in a small city in northern Ontario and from a very young age always loved the arts. In my last year of high school my dad gave me one of my grandads old SLR cameras and with it I found my love for photography. Long before digital photography I started developing film and tray processing enlargements in my darkroom.
After high school I moved to London, Ontario where I attended and graduated from a three year photography program at Fanshawe College. After college I stayed in London for over a decade where I worked in several different areas of the photography industry. Before leaving London I was lucky enough to manage a very successful studio for an amazing photographer who I was fortunate enough to have as my mentor. In 2007 my husband and I moved to the Quinte area where I decided it was time that I work for myself under my own name. A lot has changed for us since then, including having our two beautiful kids and building an addition on our home for my studio and workspace. As a professional in my field as well as a wife and mother I know how important life and loved ones are and how fleeting life can be. My goal is creatively capturing memories and moments in time for my clients that will last a lifetime. Please feel free to contact me for your specific photography needs!
