Harmony at Home Music offers in-home music lessons for all skill levels and age groups, in various instruments including guitar, piano, vocal, violin, and drums as well as other instruments. All teachers are qualified and friendly, and most importantly, have experience with kids!
We also offer a yearly recital, which is professionally shot. Each family gets a DVD or Blu-Ray copy of their child's performance! We offer lessons in the Greater Toronto Area including Brampton, Woodbridge/Vaughan, Don Mills, Richmond Hill/Thornhill, The Beaches, Downtown West End, Milton, and Markham. Please inquire if your area or instrument or area are not listed, as we may still have a teacher for you. Our Philosophy: It is a well known fact that learning music is one of the most enjoyable and integral activities that a child can engage in. Nowadays with shrinking school music programs and a lack of free time, it is getting harder for parents to meet this need. At Harmony at Home we pride ourselves on allowing a child to discover how exciting music can be through our non-rigid approach to teaching – we want your children to love music love music lessons, not dread them. We encourage children to share with us their musical tastes, which can then be incorporated into the lesson plans, allowing them to be part of the process. Music is best experienced in a comfortable and familiar setting; this is why we chose to offer our lessons in-home. This also is great for parents – to save the time and expense of shuttling their child around – which we know you do enough of already! We also understand that for various reasons, many adults never get the chance to learn how to play an instrument. Eventually it can feel like it is too late to start, but our philosophy is that it is never too late…and many of our retired clients have discovered an unearthed lifelong passion for music that was always waiting to be explored. We are humbled and elated every time they share their music with those that they love and it becomes an important part of their life.
