My experience with Enercare Home Services has been terrible. I want to let everyone know that Enercare is unreliable and cannot fulfill a contract which they have entered into for furnace protection.On September 10, 2015, I called Enercare to enquire when our existing protection plan of our furnace was due to renew. The sales rep told me that our plan could be upgraded to one with an annual maintenance visit at the cost of $216.09, I agreed to the change and she set up a date for me. On October 22, a technician came and to our surprise, he did not carry out any maintenance to the furnace; he just took a quick look at the chamber and told my husband that the furnace was unsafe and shut it down immediately. He claimed that no spare parts were available and we had to get a new furnace. We had installed a new furnace and Enercare refused to refund us the fee even it appeared to be their breach of contract, as they did not repair the equipment but just shut tagged it as unsafe through a visual check.
