Dr. Steven D. Stark's 32 year medical career is marked by constantly challenging old ideas in the fields of biomechanics and sports medicine. He is the first Podiatrist in the province of British Columbia to specialize exclusively in functional and sports medicine, and was the first Podiatrist appointed to the Sports Medicine Council of British Columbia.
Dr. Stark’s clinic in South Surrey /White Rock B.C specializes in the treatment and prevention of injuries that are the result of biomechanical problems. These injuries are caused by the structural changes in the feet and the functional changes (muscle imbalances) in the lower extremities. Dr. Stark’s mission is to help people regain and maintain proper joint position, range of motion, function and stability utilizing orthotics and proper stretching!
