This is not a motel, but rather a permanent and long term stay. The Inn Keepers act does not apply. They are required to apply to Landlord tenant act in order to evict anyone. If you have been evicted from this location less then 1 year ago and your rents have increased as a result of being evicted, and had moving cost, you may be entitled to compensation from the owner, through an application to the Landlord Tribunal.
