Located on the eastern shores of Frenchman's Bay in Bay Ridges, Pickering, ON. PORT focuses on regional and globally inspired fare, cocktails, wine and beer presented in an elegantly-casual, come-as-you-are setting. Overlooking the waters of Frenchman's Bay and Lake Ontario; guests are treated to beautiful views and colourful sunsets all year long.
Executive Chef Thomas Heitz's kitchen has created menus that evolve to reflect the season and locally raised products. Our Beverage Team strives to create cocktails that reflect the passion and skill of the original bartender(s). PORT as a whole takes its inspration from the greatest dining and imbibing establishments in North America and beyond. OUR GOAL: as a local family is to open minds and expose the surrounding GTA to great food and beverage. I really like this restaurant. Location is great overlooking the bay. Decor is very nice inside, although we have always sat in the lounge area and not the dining room. Good variety on the menu. Prices are ok for a more upscale restaurant, we find the bowl meals ie pasta, curry a good value. Food tastes very good.Only criticism I have is the first time we went they brought bread and oil dip to the table, they have stopped doing that as we've never been given it since, so seems a little cheap to have stopped this.
