Preschool Playce offers programs for children age 2 to 5: 2 days - Tues. & Thurs. - a.m. or p.m. 3 days - Mon, Wed. & Fri. - a.m. or p.m. 5 days - Mon. to Fri. - a.m. or p.m. Full days - Mon to Fr Emphasis will be placed on readiness for Kindergarten and socialization. Children will be encouraged to take turns, share, and respect the space of others. Each day children will be given a short alphabet or numeral task to complete before center time. We provide a large selection of centers and activities in a bright spacious environment. Children will be taught to "tidy as they go" to keep the environment safe and inviting. Toilet training is required. Children will be exposed to circle time - learning songs about the theme of the week, counting, the alphabet, days of the week and months of the year. Children will be expected to participate in circle time. Those not ready to participate will be given other quiet tasks. We will not force a child to sit in circle time. You will be regularly informed about your child's progress.
