My wife and I recently returned from our 30th anniversary celebration in Tokyo and were boarding flight AC06/NRT-YUL heading home on 31/07/2019, before connecting to BWI. While boarding, we discovered that our seats were miles apart. After deplaning to try and get a seat change from the check-in staff, we were advised that the flight was full and that we were out of luck. Back on board, the Service Director, Isabelle Francoeur was simply divine. She weaved her magic wand and was able to seat us together as well as a seat upgrade for our troubles. With my wife recently completing in excess of 20 hours of back surgery, she had severe trepidation over the burdens of a 13-hour flight, so the section upgrade was quite fortuitous. With her grace and ingenuity, Ms. Francoeur was a godsend and served as a fitting encore to a fantastic anniversary celebration. Kudos to her for going above and beyond the call of duty and for a job well done.
