Description

The Red Tea Box sells spectacular fondant dessert creations, boasts a sparkling coach house slash tea room in the back and has an excellent selection of loose leaf teas. There may be "no outside food", "no reservations", "no groups larger than six" and the "last seating is one and a half hours before closing" but if you can find your way around the constraints, it's worth stopping by to see (and eat) the pretty.

I heard about this place and went to try it. The teas are great, it is a nice place to sit and relax either alone or with a couple of friends to chat. However the manager is very rude, it's like you are bothering her when you come in and order anything, even if you are polite and smiling, she is dour and rude. I had some tea and a piece of cake. The cake was very dry and unappealing. For the price of the cakes they should be top quality, but they are not. I didn't try any of the other food they have there, but based on my experience I won't go back.
