At Grandview Children's Centre a team of caring staff provides services to thousands of children and youth with special needs and their families living in the Durham Region. The staff at Grandview Children's Centre work hard to provide a coordinated approach to care. They assess, diagnose (where appropriate), consult with parents and families to establish a plan of care, offer information and intervention as needed, and make referrals to appropriate community agencies.
Grandview Children's Centre is the only outpatient rehabilitation facility for children and youth with special needs in Durham and offers a variety of programs and services: Medical Services, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, Family Support Services, Therapeutic Recreation Services and specialized Clinics which include: Orthopaedics, Orthotics and Muscle Tone.
