When Roger and Diane are not busy with the demands of the restaurant they spend their time relaxing outdoors and enjoying their hobbies. Diane is an avid watercolour artist and has a passion for painting a wide variety of subject matter that includes the beautiful Callander bay and surrounding area. Diane's love for painting and Roger's interest in custom framing has led Roger to open a custom framing shop in a cozy cottage situated on their property, directly behind the restaurant. Diane's artwork and Roger's custom frames decorate the walls of the restaurant giving it a personal and comfortable feeling. Our menu features a full line of steaks, seafood, chicken dishes and our famous "Rack of Lamb." We also have a varied selection of appetizers, salads and lighter fare items to choose from including a pasta of the day. Our unique and very interesting history is evident in the flavour and atmosphere of our restaurant. The Ram's Head has deep roots and has survived the test of time. Roger and Diane have owned and operated the restaurant since 1989 and have maintained it's reputation as one of the best restaurants in the North Bay area
