Little Mexico Cantina

The Little Mexico Cantina is a nice spot tucked away in the Steveston. Not authentic Mexican, but it's a great family restaurant with reasonably priced meals. Atmosphere: Cosy with busy decor (ex. pinatas hanging from the ceiling). The live plants inside and out are a nice touch. Their indoor seating is a little dark but they have wonderful outdoors seating with patio tables with umbrellas. Food: Consistent, hot and tasty. Comes out fast. I love their burritos and tacos. We usually order the same thing every time. You can also get the meal dairy free. Healthy factor: Tortillas are made of white flour. There are no whole wheat, gluten free or brown rice options. Vegetables don't generally come with your meal (unless you consider tomato sauce/salsa to be vegetables).
