Golden Palace, third-generation family-owned, is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Ottawa. For the past 51 years, our guests have put their trust in the quality of our food and have enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in our restaurant. In addition to a wide selection of dishes on our menu, we also have the famous GP eggrolls that are enjoyed by many customers around the world. Golden Palace has THE BEST egg rolls in the world. So good that even when we get take out chinese from anywhere else we make the extra trip to go to Golden Palace for their egg rolls :) On New Years Eve it's almost next to impossible to eat there. We had to wait in line for 20 minutes one day just for egg rolls, but its well worth it!! Only here!! When we dine in we are always treated with the up most respect and it's a great place to be. everyone is happy and the staff is great! prices are affordable. I also want to rave about the Hot and Sour soup (i think that's what its called). anyways, it is SO good! I didn't like it from another chinese place we went too, but my hubby made me try it from G.P and it was amazing, I loved it! Now when I'm hungover (which isn't too often) I make him go get me it, perfect cure! I swear!!! So if you are ever in Ottawa, you HAVE to GPS this place and make it part of your itenerary!
