We were in Port Elgin for vacation (mid September) and on a Friday afternoon, the Auto Club told me I probably needed a new battery for my CRV. Went to Canadian Tire, they could not touch it till Monday. Big problem since we needed to drive home the next day and I had no tools, nor did I wish to buy some and learn how to do it myself. (I suppose that would have been possible, in a pinch.) Someone suggested Rosner's so we drove over, about 3pm. Fortunately they were not too busy so they replaced the battery in 10 minutes; had one in stock. Very friendly service too. Not cheap; you could probably get a battery replaced for less somewhere, but this seemed to be the type of shop that was honest and customer-oriented. If we lived in Saugeen Shores, I would certainly bring our cars back for service again. Sometimes, the cheapest place in town is not the one you want to patronize on a long term basis.
