Tucked away on a quiet, tree lined street amid the pomp and pretension of Yorkville is a totally uncharacteristic bar and eatery that features a relaxed attitude and sedated decor. Situated in a turn of the century house on Prince Arthur, this multi-leveled spot popular with both the Annex student crowd and Bloor Street Bourgeoisie. Beverages are definitely the main attraction at Bedford but the food, which is typical pub fare, is pretty good and priced well. A popular destination after work, especially in the summer, so if you want a spot on the patio, get there by 4:30.
