Grenadier Cafe & Tea House

This is such a nice cafe situated in a wonderful setting at High Parl. They are open year round (365 days a year) and have usual fast food options. Whenever a holiday rolls around, they usually have a special dinner lined up for it. Their service is good for food that you purchase and they will bring to your table. If you want table service and wait staff, the service is inconsistent and you can have a great server at one point or one that will forget about you for the entire time. A lot of their dishes are a bit processed (like their chicken fingers, which are obviously frozen beforehand) and their pizza is great (they have a wood burning oven), but I think the dough is pre-made rather than freshly prepared. They have a nice look and feel to the restaurant and it is great for a casual day at the park, but don't have high expectations. Some of these deficiencies are made up by the fact that you're in a really nice setting surrounded by the park and all that it has to offer.
