The Little Dog Shop offers your precious pet a different kind of grooming experience. With no holding cages or crates, your dog is free to roam the shop, taking advantage of our "window seat" for a little people watching, socializing at the water bowl and making new friends or just catching a nap in one of our comfy beds.
At The Little Dog Shop the owner is also the head groomer. Not a single dog leaves the shop without my approval.. As a multiple dog owner, from mastiffs to shihtzus, I have a lifetime of experience handling, training, and understanding the wide variety of needs which must be met in order to provide a safe, calm yet fun environment in order to maximize your pets grooming experience as a positive necessity in his or her life. I believe in the parents right to have their pet groomed the way they want - this we will do to the best of our ability. An initial consultation with your pets' groomer ensures a satisfied pet parent, and detailed notes are taken to ensure consistency in both the handling and grooming of your pet. Each dog is treated as an individual. Their specific needs are taken into account while in our care. Seinor dogs are not asked to stand for long periods and stairs are provided for large dogs, both for the tub and the table. Puppies are encouraged to come visit and play, to become familiar with the goings on at the groomers, so when their turn comes it's not such a big deal.
