As a grad student in England, our founder unearthed her love of all things botanic while moonlighting, cleaning flowers at dawn to help pay the rent. Stripping, cutting, and bundling blooms into market bunches and hand tied bouquets, she found her fine arts career re-directed by the romance and peace of working with flowers. That presence informs everything we do.
Our shop is staffed by artists who use flowers and your vision as their raw material. Long before most people are up, we’re strolling the flower market, selecting the pick of the season. We talk to the vendors and collect what’s fresh and unusual. We love it when wild pickers bring their oversized wares to our shop: flowering branches, hardy foliage and knotted roots hauled in on the back of trucks.
