Description

Chef Gabriele Paganelli started Romagna Mia in 1997 (now Paganelli's Risotteria), with the idea of introducing the cuisine of Emilia Romagna to Toronto. Gabriele’s vision was to share the tastes and flavours of his childhood; traditional fresh pasta, homemade piadina and award winning risotto. Over the years many awards and accolades have been achieved, but the one Gabriele and his family are most proud of is giving Toronto its only truly traditional northern Italian dining experience.

I went there for company's Christmas lunch. We were greeted by several friendly Italian servers, who were all very pleasant to talk to. Nice atmosphere, clean and bright. And also, GREAT food. I tried one of their risotto's, as well as one of the pasta's. Both were very satisfying, and I will definitely return. It's not that cheap -- you would spend anywhere from $30 to $50 usually. But they taste wonderful, the atmosphere is great, and the staffs are fantastic! Not-your-average-casual dining place, but make an occasion and celebrate there. They have good parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. But because it's downtown, do expect more crowd and less places to park. But overall you will be satisfied.
