Allegro Montessori School is located at 4215 Degeer Street in the beautiful city of Saskatoon. Our facility houses a toddler class (18 months – 3 years), three pre-school classes (approximately 2.5 – 6 years), and an elementary program (grade 1 through 6).
The school is a not-for-profit organization run by a Board of Directors, composed of past and current parents and members of staff. We are also a Registered Charity and a member of the International Montessori Council. Allegro Montessori School is registered as a Qualified Independent School with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and as such meets the educational requirements of both the Saskatchewan and the Montessori curriculum. All of our Directors have Montessori diplomas as well as Bachelor degrees in Education if teaching at the elementary level. The Allegro Montessori staff are committed to providing authentic Montessori to Saskatoon's children and are dedicated to the Montessori philosophy of education. While we offer an authentic Montessori education we also provide French, music and physical education specialists. French starts in the kindergarten year and continues through the elementary program. Music starts in pre-school and continues as trumpet, ukelele and vocal instruction in the elementary. Physical Education starts as soon as your child is with us full days. We work together to build the independent nature and natural curiosity in the whole child.
