Cottage Country Connection was established in 1994 and the Causeway Connection and later became The Connection Newspaper. In 2014, under vibrant new ownership, the publication continued to grow and was honoured with the Award of Excellence for Marketing & Promotion from the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce in 2015. In May of 2016, the format was changed from a cottage country community newspaper to a cottage country lifestyle magazine, winning the Award of Excellence for Entrepreneur Innovation from the Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. We grow with engaging content and something for everyone, embodying the cottage country experience – always good news, educating, and inspiring.
