Hope Child Therapy offers customized treatment to meet your child’s needs, abilities and developmental functioning. Counselling services are offered individually and/or jointly for children and their caregivers. Therapy for your child is provided by Nicole Hotson, Registered Social Worker and Thunder Bay’s only Certified Play Therapist. You can access services for your child when you need it most, without having to be placed on a lengthy wait list. You can choose the frequency of your sessions depending on your needs. Hope Child Therapy offers brief, long term and aftercare services. You can re-enter treatment when needed, without having to return to a wait list. Hope Child Therapy provides developmentally appropriate therapy for your child based on several different theories, modalities and techniques such as: Child Centered Play Therapy, Developmental Play Therapy, Filial (Family Play Therapy), Ecosystemic Play Therapy, Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, Psychoanalytic Theory, Jungian Theory, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
