The Queen's Fancy

I feel I owe my artistic and creative ability to my mother which is why I paint under the name "Linda Augustin." She is my inspiration in many facets and will always guide my hand. A special thank you to my sister who never hesitates to give me her true opinion and warm encouragement.
From painting and staining, stripping and repair, design and colour coordination, the items I have fashioned on this site are my own composition. "Antiquing", "crackled" paint, or other special effects such as weathering on frames is done purposefully. In some instances, frames are left to look vintage for a special effect or I have enhanced such a look. The images are photographed by me in my homemade photography studio in my garage so if there are glints of light in some pictures, I apologize, and will re-take a shot if you feel you'd like one. I currently reside in Cambridge, Ontario, with a fella who will hammer a nail for me if I ask, my two cats, and dog. I hope you enjoy your visit and will return often.
