A true bar and grill in Winnipeg, Barley Brothers is a great place to eat, drink, and watch the game. They learned the first primal steps in the making of beer while helping their fathers and grandfathers on the farm; having no idea they would one day be a part of the beer industry. These farmers went to school, then ventured into the corporate world, but something was missing. The guys simply wanted more. Through their travels, they started to realize the vast differences in the many beers around the world. With every new, tasty, frothy beer, their passions continued to ignite. At first, the idea was to brew their own. Upon learning that their expertise isn't in the field of brewing, but still having the passion, they went out and got some of the best beer from across North America and opened up Barley Brothers. The first location opened with 72 taps. The inherent issue is that more great beers continue to reveal themselves to the owners. Of course, the natural conclusion that any sane person would come to is, "We need more taps!!!" The second location with over 150 taps opened, and now holds the most taps in Canada!
