SKYLIGHTS Sky-Tech curb mounted Skylights are the most commonly used skylight models as they can be installed on to virtually any type of roof. They incorporate a thermally broken aluminum base frame, which is an important feature in colder climates. This thermal break consists of a core of structural, dual thermal struts, which divides the warm inner portion and the cold outer portion of the aluminum frame, thereby increasing thermal efficiency. Glazing consists of single, double or triple layers of thermally formed acrylic domes. The elevated profile of the domed shape helps to shed snow during winter months. This is an important consideration for our long Canadian winters as the skylight must remain free of snow to provide maximum illumination. SUNSCOPE The SunScope tubular daylight device is a maintenance free natural light system that allows daylight to illuminate your home. Daylight is reflected down a 98% reflective aluminum pipe from the roof to a translucent ceiling fixture. The ceiling fixture uniformly diffuses natural light throughout the interior living space - even on a cloudy day. The SunScope is available in 4 sizes 8.5", 13", 17" and 21" diameter. The SunScope virtually eliminates daytime electric lighting requirements. The SunScope has no winter heat loss nor any summer heat gain.
