Unicon is a family business. It was started by my father Ernie, my brother Dean and myself in 1989. In1995, Ernie retired, and Dean and I each became 50% shareholders. In December 2011, I purchased the other 50% of the business from Dean. I am proud to say I have been an owner from the beginning.
I started working for Unicon as a truck driver when I was 18 years old. Unicon is a part of me. Since beginning in 1989, I have been through tough recessions and have seen multiple construction “booms”. I have worked actively with EVERY component of Unicon and in EVERY department of Unicon. I am a versatile and reasonable owner, and a strong leader. My goal is to help our employees develop personally and professionally as an employee of Unicon. Unicon employees are a great group of people who are dedicated, committed, highly professional, energetic and self-motivated. Our culture is unique and one we are proud of. Integrity, respect for others, honor and trust are not words we print to impress people. It is what we believe. Trust is built in moments with our clients and with each other. Our humble beginnings taught us to work hard for every customer. Our philosophy is still the same. We select only the employees whom we believe share our values and vision.
